what is prayer? prayer is when you are engaging a time with the Father and no wondering how long or how loud you cry out to him. it doesn't matter where you are nor it doesn't matter how long you do it for. what matter's the most is where your heart is in that time of prayer and solitude. prayer is so needed everyday in our lives and in our walk with the Lord. why is that? in the word, it says to call unto him, seek and follow his ways that leads us to the mountain and to meek and yearn for his heart and love.
more and more i'm falling in love to pray. not that i wasn't before but it is so essential. not only prayer is essential but engaging in HIS WORD! i find myself all the time falling in short with this but what i love about the lord is that He is so gracious to us and as long as our hearts are allied with his and in the right place we are able to come to him and seek after his face.
i love hillsong united's new song...it's called Your Love Is Like Fire...it's not out yet but heard the demo of it and it is exactly what my prayer is for our church at livingwater and for our ministries. i hope the lyrics really speaks out to you and let it soak in .. this is the link for the mp3
